Our CEO, Carson Harte, was this week honoured by The Foundation for the Encouragement of Social Contribution (FESCO) in Tokyo, Japan.
Carson received this award on behalf of Exceed, for our work in the establishment of prosthetics and Orthotics Training in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Myanmar.
The Nippon Foundation, has worked in strategic partnership with Exceed since the mid 90s, in the development of Prosthetic Orthotic services to people with disability.
In welcoming the award Carson said, “I am humbled to be honoured in this way, and very grateful to The Nippon Foundation for their generous support to our long term strategy to prosthetics and orthotics. This award recognises the hundreds of young professionals who are trained or are being trained, and the tens of thousands of persons with disability whose impairments have been reduced by the use of high quality devices.”
The award was presented by FESCO Chairperson Ms Akie Abe.
