2018 FOUNDATION FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION (FESCO)
Exceed CEO, Carson Harte, was presented with this award in Tokyo, Japan. It recognises Exceed’s work in the establishment and development of Prosthetics and Orthotics Training in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Myanmar.
The Nippon Foundation was a key partner in this work and, in welcoming the award Carson said, “I am humbled to be honoured in this way, and very grateful to The Nippon Foundation for their generous support to our long term strategy to prosthetics and orthotics.”
The award was presented by FESCO Chairperson Ms Akie Abe.
2004 SOLIDARITE CENTRAL CHARITY FUND AWARD
An award voted for by the stagiaires (trainees) of the European Commission. Exceed (then The Cambodia Trust) was nominated by supporter and former stagiaire Gerard Horgan, and was one of forty NGOs considered for the €10,000 award. The prize fund was used to help disadvantaged disabled children to attend school.
2002 AGFUND INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR PIONEERING PROJECTS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
Exceed (then The Cambodia Trust) won this prestigious award in the category: Rehabilitation and Integration of People with Special Needs. The Trust was nominated by the Disability Action Council of Cambodia. The $100,000 award and trophy were presented to Executive Director Carson Harte in a ceremony at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
2000 GOLD AWARD FOR HUMANITARIAN DEVELOPMENT
This honour from the Royal Cambodian Government was presented to Exceed Chief Executive Carson Harte in recognition of his achievements in improving the lives of people with disabilities in the country.
“This award reflects the impact Exceed is having on the lives of disabled people here, and the progress we've made towards building a better future for Cambodia's most vulnerable people."
